Welcome Home!

The other half of the M&M residence is here!!!! Now I get to show you all his welcome home surprises. It was delay after delay and I kept telling Lucy "Mom's real busy, but you'll see why soon!" I think she was beginning to think I was a liar.....
is he EVER coming home!?
p.s. I need to pull that weed out of the rocks....annoying....
the homemade sign inside (originally intended for outside, I don't usually call my husband Sergeant)

a little love from our favorite nephew
and some love from Lucy, of course
I was so unimpressed with my sign making skills, I purchased this little beauty ;)
My hard-working soldier deserves more than just signs, though...so in addition to the messages from his adoring fans, he came home to:

lasagna. The ugliest lasagna I've ever made in fact!
(side note- it's gluten free)
no bake cookies! (also gluten free!)

she loathes my very existence at this point....
I was making lasagna which meant she was banished from the kitchen

and what soldier's home isn't compelte without red and white flowers,
new blue lounge chairs,  and a (made in America!) cheap flag
ok ok......this is for me ;)
this is just sacrilegious

fun tools for his golf game (it's a hat clip/ball marker)

randoms..stuff for fishing, grilling, and eating
toys for his truck
(RealTree floor mats for the back seat)
a cleaned, polished, tinted truck
he said we were gonna hike 14ers...I'm holding him to it!
here's his new camelbak, multi tool, poncho, compass,
and there's bug spray and sunblock somewhere in there

video of them getting off the plane

we don't look too bad for 4am

she's so excited she's just a blur

aaannnnd this is the part where I no longer exist :P

...and more to come this weekend when the family welcome him home! Expect cool pictures, and you'd be safe assuming there will be cake involved!
