I'm MandGrenade

a former derby girl with a bit of an attitude problem.

....sometimes I explode at the mouth.

My brother used to tell me I reminded him of a spastic colon, but when I had to pick a derby name, MandGrenade sounded a bit better than SpasticColon.

I've earned my fair share of scars, and life has bruised me up a time or two.

But I'm blessed beyond measure and I believe in God's promise of
Beauty for Ashes (Isaiah 61:3)

I've got an amazing family,

and the coolest nephew on the planet!

I love sports, have a shoe fetish, and I hate make up.

By day, I work doing stock market stuff so I can pay the bills.
But in reality.....

I'm a Personal Trainer, a runner...

....and I like lifting heavy things.

Food is my love language, and I'm a celiac disease-ridden pain.

I'm a big fan of meat and veggies. Simple, nutritious fuel.

I'm also a big fan of junk food....always have been.

I've had my pooch, Lucy, since she was six weeks old. She's the raddest chick I know.

I've been abandoned, used, mistreated, and degraded by some...much like most of you, I assume. 

This blog is where I'll share my stories of finding beauty in the ashes that life has left.
